Zayn Malik is an English singer, songwriter and former member of the boy band, One Direction. He was born on January 12, 1993 in Bradford, England. He currently stands 5ft 9in tall and rule under the star sign Capricorn. At age seventeen, he became a solo contestant on season seven of The X Factor. He was eliminated before the final round but was given a second chance as a group with four other male contestants (Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson). They finished in third place and was offered a recording contract with Syco Records. He went on to release four commercially successful albums as a member of One Direction starting with ‘Up All Night’ in 2011. Malik left the group in March 2015 to pursue a solo career. He signed to RCA Records in summer 2015. He was engaged to former X Factor contestant, Perrie Edwards, from 2013-2015. Zayn Malik has a net worth of $20 million.
