Yungeen Ace is an up-and-coming American rapper from Jacksonville, Florida. He recently rose to prominence with standout singles “Pain” and “F*ck That.” Prior to the fame, he made headlines for being the sole survivor of a drive-by shooting. The shooting, that took place outside of a Jacksonville diner, claimed the life of his brother and two close friends. He is also affiliated with the Cinematic Music Group.

Real name, Keyanta Tyrone Bullard, he was born on February 12, 1998, in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 4, he moved with his family to Jacksonville, Florida. One of 12 brothers, life was extremely difficult for his single mother. He recalled constantly moving in and out of various homes. His father was serving time in prison. At age 14, things took a turn for the worst. He lost his beloved uncle; someone he considered a father figure. Yungeen Ace, then, turned to music and street life. CAREER
In February 2018, Yungeen Ace started uploading music online. Some of his earliest tracks, “No Witness,” “All in,” and “Find Myself,” immediately gained traction on SoundCloud. In a few months, collectively, they received millions of plays. He continued to upload songs until tragedy struck in June. On June 5, 2018, Yungeen Ace and his brother along with two close friends were involved in a drive-by shooting. When the smoke settled, his brother, 19yr old Trevon Bullard, was pronounced dead. His two other friends, 18yr old Royale Smith Jr and 19yr old Jercoby Groover, also perished in the massacre. He, too, was in critical condition after receiving 8 bullets but survived. After the ordeal, he received support from NBA YoungBoy and Mista Cain.

Shortly after, Yungeen Ace released his debut album “Life of Betrayal.” The project featured JayDaYoungan and YoungBoy. The album was spearheaded by standout singles “Pain,” “F*ck That,” and “Jungle.” Most of the tracks depict his lifelong struggles and the pain he felt after losing his brothers. Released in August, the album has created quite the buzz. It has received north of 15 million plays on SoundCloud, collectively. On YouTube, “Pain” led the charge with 13 million views in 2 months.

Due to legal troubles, Ace would be placed on house arrest. In October, he was arrested for going to the mall without the permission of his probation officer. He is currently in police custody. Upon release, he planned on collaborating with Lil Baby.

On March 10, 2019, Yungeen Ace and his entourage were ambushed at a hotel in Waycross, Georgia. At around 3:30 a.m, a group opened fire on the rapper and crew. Of the four men, two were shot with one proving fatal. When police arrived on the scene, they found the body of Jeremy Brookins (30) by a pool and discovered an injured Dewayne Lamont Scott in a room. Ace was reportedly unharmed.
