Yella Beezy is an American rapper and performer from Dallas. He’s known for tracks like “That’s On Me”, “Favors” and “Up One” featuring Lil Baby. His full-length projects include the mixtapes Lil Yella Mane (2012), Lite Work (2015), and Broke Nights Rich Days (2017). He’s opened for the likes of Jay-Z and Beyonce. Beezy was born Deandre Conway on October 21, 1991, in Dallas, Texas. His father passed away when he was 12. He was raised by his mother and step-father. Growing up, Beezy changed schools frequently. He dropped out of high school before completing a diploma.

CAREER
Yella Beezy grew up listening to acts like Cash Money, Kevin Gates, UGK and Boosie Badazz among others. He started writing his own lyrics at age 9. His debut mixtape, Mash Mode Overload, dropped when he was 14. Beezy’s second mixtape, Lil Yella Mane, arrived in November 2012. His third tape, Lite Work, was released in October 2016 by Pressplay Entertainment Group. It featured tracks like “Trap in Designer” and “Going Through Some Thangs.” A fourth tape, Broke Nights Rich Days, followed in February 2017.

The second installment of the ‘Lite Work’ mixtape was released in December 2017. It featured guest appearances from G$ Lil Ronnie, Sir Rec, Go Yayo, and Trapboy Freddy. The tape was led by the single “That’s On Me”, which peaked at #69 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The official video has been viewed 87+ million times on YouTube. It was directed by HalfpintFilmz. Beezy continued his rise with the Lil Mister-produced song “Up One” featuring Lil Baby. The remix video racked up 40+ million views within the first few months. Beezy served as an opening act for Jay Z and Beyonce for the Arlington and Houston legs of their OTR II tour. In October 2018, he performed his hit single “That’s On Me” at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Beezy is signed to L.A. Reid’s Hitco Entertainment. He’s currently working on a new project called Ain’t No Goin Back.

Yella Beezy stands 5ft 10in tall and he’s of African-American ancestry. He has several tattoos including the word “DALLAS” across his upper back. Beezy’s net worth is estimated at $2 million.
