ORIGIN
xQc (xQcOW) is a Canadian professional eSports gamer and partnered Twitch streamer. He plays Overwatch as the ‘tank’ and has competed in tournaments such as the Overwatch League, Overwatch Contenders, and the Overwatch World Cup. Since his pro debut, xQc has played for teams Denial eSports, Q?, Arc 6, Dallas Fuel and GOATS. His current teams are the Gladiators Legion and Team Canada. Given name Felix Lengyel, he was born on November 12, 1995, in Laval, Quebec, Canada.

CAREER
In 2016, xQc made his professional Overwatch debut as a member of Team Q? He then played for team Denial eSports (aka The Wolf Pack) from 2016 to 2017. xQc played briefly for Arc 6 (formerly YIKES!). They competed in the Overwatch Contenders, finishing in the group stage. In 2017, xQc joined Team Canada and competed in the Overwatch World Cup campaign. They ultimately lost to South Korea in the finals. Nevertheless, xQc received the highest number of votes for the T-Mobile MVP of the tournament.

In late 2017, xQc was added to team Dallas Fuel of the Overwatch League. He competed in several matches between 2017 and 2018. During his tenure, xQc picked up two suspensions and had to pay $6,000 in fines. He was suspended for using homophobic language and for making derogatory behavior. He was ultimately dropped by Dallas Fuel in March 2018 due to his repeated offenses.

Following his stint with Dallas Fuel, xQc shifted his focus towards streaming full-time. His Twitch boasts 1.2+ million followers, 65 million views, and more than 15,000 concurrent viewers per stream. He has 335K+ subscribers on YouTube (xQcOW) and millions of video views. The channel features popular video series such as Media Monday, xQc Reacts, Reddit Recap, and gaming highlights. xQc played briefly for team GOATS in the 2018 Overwatch Trials North America. He played tank for Team Canada in the 2018 Overwatch World Cup. He was 1 of 5 players allowed to join Team Canada without going through the normal trialing procedure. xQc joined the Gladiators Legion (Los Angeles Gladiators) in February 2019. His role is that of a substitute main tank. The Gladiators Legion is headed by coach Gannon “RaptorZ” Nelson.
