Visionz2turnt is a versatile American rapper and songwriter. He was formerly known as Visionz but still occasionally goes by V2T. His discography includes but is not limited to: Face Me (2012), Hear Me (2012), IDK (2019), Clout Pack (2020), Cold World (2020), Money Bags (2020), Click House (2019), Up The Smoke (2020, Day Dream (2020), Bonnie & Clyde (2020), Shattered Heart ( 2020), Military Mind (2020). Visionz2turnt was born Javon Michael Everett on November 11, 1989, in Washington, District of Columbia.

Growing up in Kenilworth, DC, Visionz2turnt survived a freak accident, in which he flipped through monkey bars and landed on a pole sticking out of the ground, busting his left eye open. To close the wound, he received 32 butterfly stitches and he now has a white scar showing just how lucky he was to survive. Visionz2turnt was raised by a single mother of 5 kids, in which he is the middle child. He lived with his mother until the age of 16 and then relocated to Henderson, North Carolina to stay with his dad where he finished high school. His time in North Carolina marked the beginning of his musical ventures. While in NC, he met the well-respected rapper, Bigmoshawty, who helped drum-started his music career.

CAREER
Visionz2turnt is well known for his single “IDK” which garnered attention from major labels & fans nationwide in April of 2020. The video went viral on WSHH and currently has almost a million plays. “Loyalty is what I’m all about, whoever started with me ends with me” is his exact words. Simultaneously, he met with Sean Harley who introduced him and his music to Warner Records. Visionz2turnt currently has 71.6k followers on Instagram and 7.3k subscribers on YouTube. His most popular EP “DRIP GLITCH” was released on April 24, 2020, to critical acclaim. In the first 5 months, the project accumulated over 5 million streams and continues to rack up plays.

Visionz2turnt traced his love for music to elementary school, where he wrote poetry for homework and for friends to hand to girls. He has now collaborated with multiple artists including Jordan Royale, Kam Nasty, B Karma, Nxva Baby, DZE, Ecstasy tease, etc. Visionz2turnt learned a lot of techniques while in Hawaii working with producer Moe Luv, may he Rest in Peace. He currently doesn’t have a manager but works alongside his partner, Bigmoshawty, to elevate and perfect his craft. In the future, he is looking toward collaborating with a lot of seasoned talent.

In January of 2020, Visionz2turnt inked his first record deal with Bentley Records. Within the first few months of signing, he fulfilled all requirements of his contract and continues to grow as an artist, a father, and as an entrepreneur. He has a plethora of unreleased music in addition to his catalog of releases. Visionz2turnt has been featured in various Blogs, Dark Magazine, Google News, and known sites ranging from Thrive Global, MTV-USA, Fresh out the booth, World Rap federation, Raptology, Genius, IMDB, and many more. His primary goal is to gain a massive follow and maximize his exposure.

Visionz2turnt enlisted to serve in the United States Army, on active duty status, from 2010-2016 where he traveled to various places including Hawaii. From 2011-2012, he was deployed to Afghanistan for his first tour. “I wish I could bring back all the soldiers we lost,” he said. Since deployment, he’s been battling multiple mental health issues with PTSD being at the top of the list. He sees music as an escape and antidote to maintain a sense of normalcy. Meanwhile, in January 2016, Visionz2turnt medically retired and became a stay-at-home dad while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public management (graduates December 2020) and on to a bachelor’s in criminal justice starting January 2021.

PERSONAL
Visionz2turnt was married 10.5 years before going thru a divorce. He stands about 5ft 5in with a muscular build and is of African American descent. Chickasaw Indian was found in his family lineage. His net worth is estimated at $750 Thousand USD. His name came from his street name Visionz and a label he started called 2turnt. He put the two together when the name V2T was found as a technology company. To this day, he says V2T in every song just before his verses. Visionz2turnt reportedly has 5 kids with his ex-wife Kenletta Mccord (December 1, 2009 – November 20, 2020). Visionz2turnt has 1 son named Jha’zion (11yrs old), 4 girls starting with his oldest Laylani (9 years old), 5-year-old Twin girls Heaven & Nevaeh, and last but not least Miracle (3 soon to be 4yrs old).

Innocent is the last word to describe Visionz2turnt, he has had trouble with the law in his life on numerous occasions from being pulled over with multiple pistols and multiple magazines filled in which he was locked up but later released. Luckily later no charges stuck, and he was given a second chance. He loves to go to the gym in which most of his best song ideas come to him while weightlifting. His melodic Melody’s bring a mixture of his street life, love life, and earthly presence to resonate with not only one genre but all. His purpose was to make music that women, men, and kids of all ages can relate to and gain the respect of all thru his words of honesty.
