Tyla Yaweh is an up-and-coming rapper from Orlando, Florida. He’s known for singles “Drugs and Pain”, “Gemini”, “Wildlife” and “She Bad.” His debut album, Heart Full of Rage, dropped in 2019. Yaweh is currently signed to London Entertainment, home to Post Malone. He’s collaborated with ASAP Rocky, French Montana, Ski Mask the Slump God, Juice WRLD, and many others.

Yaweh was born Tyler Jamal Brown on May 31, 1995, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He grew up in a rough neighborhood surrounded by drugs and violence. He initially found solace in skateboarding. Yaweh worked at a local Dunkin’ Donuts and sold drugs prior to fame. He was kicked out of his home after his mom found drugs in the house. Yaweh had to grow up fast. In 2017, Yaweh toured with XXXTentacion on the Revenge tour. He had multiple performances at Rolling Loud. His breakout single “Drugs and Pain” was released in November 2017 by London Ent. The track was produced by XL and the supporting music video was directed by Ryan Silverstein. 2018 saw the release of singles “Wildlife”, “Gemini” and “Goals” featuring Preme. All 3 tracks performed well, racking up millions of streams across Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud.

Yaweh performed at the 2018 SXSW and Made In America festivals. He appeared on a 2018 episode of Jimmy Fallon‘s Tonight Show where the two had a rap battle. Yaweh’s latest single “She Bad” dropped in October 2018. It was produced by Bizness Boi. The music video clocked in 2.8+ million views in the first 7 weeks. Yaweh’s debut studio album, Heart Full of Rage, was released in February 2019 by Epic Records and London Entertainment. It was supported by the singles “Gemini” and “High Right Now”. Guest appearances were made by French Montana and PnB Rock.
