ORIGIN
Toosii (aka King Toosii) is an American rapper from Syracuse, New York. He became a fan favorite with drops like “Red Lights”, “Love Cycle”, “Truth Be Told” and “Back from the Dead.” His discography includes Platinum Heart (2020) and Who Dat (2019). Toosi is currently signed to South Coast Music Group. The label is home to DaBaby, Blacc Zacc, Big Mali, and several others.

Toosii was born Nau’Jour Grainger on January 9, 2000, in Syracuse, New York. He currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. When asked about his musical influences, Grainger cited his father and his brothers and early inspiration. Music definitely runs in his family. He has a total of 5 siblings. On January 3, 2020, Toosii released ‘My Sh!t Show’ amid the coronavirus pandemic. The project was led by “Off the Rip (Remix)”, “Playing Games (Remix).” His studio album ‘Platinum Heart’ followed closely on February 7, 2020. Platinum Heart was released by South Coast Music Group and it features production from Ant Chamberlain, Hagan, and King LeeBoy. The tracklist includes “Love Cycle”, “Truth Be Told”, “Back from the Dead” and “Down to Ride.” The visuals for Love Cycle dropped on May 29, 2020. It was directed by Edgar Esteves.

A deluxe edition of ‘Platinum Heart’ was released on May 29, 2020. It features 7 additional singles, including “5 Stars” and “Inside Out.” Since his debut, Toosii has opened for acts like YoungBoy Never Broke Again, City Girls, and Money Man to name a few. He has 35K+ followers on SoundCloud and 400K+ monthly listeners on Spotify. Toosii uses the handle “toosii2x” across Instagram and Twitter.
