Tomi Lahren is an American television show host, political commentator, and Republican conservative. She’s a former host for the news and entertainment network, TheBlaze. Lahren was born into a military family on August 11, 1992, in Rapid City, South Dakota. She attended Central High School followed by the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV). She worked as an intern for Republican congresswoman Kristi Noem. She graduated from UNLV in 2014.

CAREER
Lahren served as host and associate producer for ‘The Scramble’ during her time at the University of Nevada. She moved to San Diego and was given an opportunity to host her own show ‘On Point with Tomi Lahren’ on One America News Network. The show ran from August 2014 to August 2015. Lahren moved to Texas later that year. She hosted ‘Tomi’ for TheBlaze until she was fired in March 2017. Her termination came shortly after she made pro-choice comments.

Lahren’s work is not without controversy. She drew media attention in 2015 for her comments regarding the Chattanooga shootings. In 2016, she criticized Beyonce‘s half time show at Super Bowl 50. She compared the Black Lives Matter movement to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). She’s slammed a number of other celebrities including, Jay Z, Hillary Clinton and Jesse Williams. Lahren and Trevor Noah debated on the Daily Show in November 2016. They covered topics like political protests, Colin Kaepernick and Donald Trump.
