Hailing from the East Coast, Tokyo’s Revenge is an emerging American rapper and producer. In 2019, his breakout single “Goodmorningtokyo!” garnered millions of streams across major platforms. It graced charts like Spotify’s US Viral 50 and Rolling Stone’s Top 25 Songs & Music Hits. Tokyo’s currently signed to The 740 Project. He also dropped a couple of freestyles – most notably “YesIndeedFreestyle” and “RoverFreestyle.” Tokyo’s debut EP, MDNGHT (Side A), was released in January 2019. It boasted tracks “Iwrotethis4me”, “MDNGHT”, “M4DONNA” and “Lateshow” featuring JaXic. In February 2019, Tokyo released “Disco!” featuring Mastamiind and Bandingo YGNE. The JackMarlow-produced track amassed 500K+ spins. Another fan-favorite song “Cowboy and Aliens” was released in May 2019.

In June 2019, Tokyo’s Revenge struck gold with “Goodmorningtokyo!” (prod. by Cliiifford). It became his first viral hit, racking up 4 million Spins on SoundCloud in under 6 months. The song was shared via Elevator’s YouTube channel in September 2019. Goodmorningtokyo! secured a #1 placement on Spotify’s Viral 50 charts and #2 on Rolling Stone’s Top 25 Trending. The song also made the rounds on TikTok with thousands of influencers sharing their take on the catchy tune. June 2019 also welcomed “Letiteatfreestyle.” Next, Tokyo and Lil Satan joined forces on “Looneytunesfreestyle”, released in August 2019.

In September 2019, Tokyo collaborated with San Diego rapper Joey Trap on the EP ‘Trapped in Tokyo.’ It features songs like “Damn It!”, “Peanut Butter Jelly”, and “Psycho.” Trapped in Tokyo was released by Young Rich Squad and it features production from Cliiifford and Akachi. Tokyo’s Revenge is currently signed to The 740 Project, an independent label and marketing company from Los Angeles. The label has a partnership with Scooter Braun‘s Ithaca Holdings. The 740 Project has worked with artists like Bryson Tiller, Lil Yachty and Migos among others.

Tokyo’s next viral hit “Thot!” dropped in November 2019. It features vocals from ZEDSU. The track was co-produced by Cliiifford and Mathias Tyner. Tokyo’s second EP, MDNGHT (SIDE B), was released on November 22, 2019. It was led by the aforementioned “Goodmorningtokyo!” and “Thot!” The project also includes songs “Clark Kent”, “Drug Lullaby”, “Loveme!” and “Badnews*.” The EP’s production was handled by Akachi Beats, Mathias Tyner, and go-to producer Cliiifford. In November 2019, Tokyo was featured on Mastamiind’s single “Keep Going!” The following month he appeared on “Fresh Offa Route” by Brickboydior.
