Salish Matter is an American YouTuber, competitive gymnast, and social media personality. She’s the daughter of photographer and fellow YouTube star Jordan Matter. Salish was born on November 29, 2009, in Nyack, New York. Her mom, Lauren Boyer, has appeared in several of their videos and on their social media pages. They’re both vegetarian. Salish’s older brother, Hudson, is also active on the YouTube platform.

CAREER
Salish got a head start appearing in her dad’s YouTube videos and from being featured on his Instagram and social media pages. She starred in the 2023 YouTube video “My Daughter Turns 21 Years Old” opposite Nidal Wonder. In October 2018, Salish graced the cover of her dad’s book, “Born to Dance: Celebrating the Wonder of Childhood.” The self-help book, which has 240 pages, was published by Workman Publishing Company.

No stranger to the spotlight, Salish now has her own Instagram (salishmatter) and YouTube accounts. Her Instagram boasts 3+ million followers and includes a nice mix of solo and family photos and videos. Salish launched her YouTube channel in July 2023. Her first video titled “My New House Tour” premiered in August 2023 featuring her dad as the cameraman. As the title suggests, the 9-minute video gave an in-depth tour of their new house from the kitchen to a bouncy trampoline in their backyard.
