Quando Rondo is an up-and-coming American rapper from Savannah, Georgia. His 2018 hit single “I Remember” featuring Lil Baby garnered hundreds of thousands of fans. Life B4 Fame, his debut mixtape, further expanded his fame and popularity among listeners. Given the name Tyquian Terrel Bowman, he was born on March 23, 1999, in Savannah, Georgia. His mother was a drug addict and his father was a constant fixture in the U.S prison system. Due to such circumstances, Rondo was adopted.

Growing up in a poor class neighborhood riddled with crime and gang activities, Rondo was always in trouble with the law. He spent a great portion of his early childhood in and out of juvenile detention centers. As a matter of fact, he’s been on probation since the age of 12. While in detention, Rondo started rapping and creating beats with just about anything available. Music, of course, was no stranger to him as he began singing as early as age 9. Making the most of his experience, he utilized the time by honing his craft and producing amateur recordings. Rondo grew up listening to the likes of Chief Keef. He idolizes the rapper for making it big at such a young age.

CAREER
In 2017, Quando Rondo began releasing snippets of his tracks on SoundCloud. His talent was immediately recognized and said tracks went viral. Shortly after, his Instagram fan page exploded with new followers. As he continued to upload videos and tracks, big-time artists took note of his talent. Such artists include the likes of Birdman, The Game, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. He, especially, developed a close relationship with YoungBoy NBA whom he considers a mentor. After passing up several record label offers, Rondo finally inked a deal with music powerhouse, Atlantic Records.

In early 2018, Rondo, alongside Lil Baby, released the hit single “I Remember.” The track performed extremely well and proved to be a breakthrough. To date, it amasses over 11 million views on YouTube. Another single, Motivation, released shortly after, also gained traction. Quando Rondo’s most successful project arrived in the spring of 2018. The release of his debut mixtape “Life B4 Fame” would see his career advance to the next level. The 11-track mixtape, featuring OMB Peezy, Lil Durk, and Tec, received over 2 million streams in two days. Eventually, it achieved a whopping 6 million downloads. As opportunity continues to present itself, Rondo is making every effort to seize the moment. Projects in work include “Rich Homie Quando” and “Life after Fame.” He recently released the music video “Kiccin Sh*t.”

In February 2019, Quando Rondo dropped the single, Gun Powder.
