Phora is an American rapper currently signed to Warner Bros. Records. His discography includes the album Yours Truly Forever (2017), and the mixtapes Still a Kid (2012) and With Love (2016). He’s also a video director, record producer, and founder of Yours Truly Records. Phora was born Marco Anthony Archer on October 11, 1994, in Anaheim, California. He spent roughly 2 years at a juvenile hall in Los Angeles.
CAREER
Prior to music, Phora worked as a tattoo artist. He also experimented with graffiti. His interest in music was sparked by his father. He also drew inspiration from artists like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Hopsin and Logic. Phora created his YouTube account in December 2010. The channel has grown to 480K+ subscribers and more than 125 million video views. Selected videos include “My Story”, “Sinner” and, “I Think I Love You”. Phora created his own record label ‘Yours Truly’ in 2011. His debut mixtape, Still a Kid, was released in November 2012.
