Pedro Capo is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, actor, and instrumentalist. He is the grandson of former Miss Puerto Rico, Irma Nydia Vazquez and Puerto Rican music icon, Bobby Capo. Capo first established a name for himself as a member of the Spanish band, Marka Registrada. A gifted guitar player, he played instruments and sang for the group. Years later, after parting ways with the band, he embarked on a solo mission. Capo began appearing in theater musicals, started recording solo, and initiated an acting career. He is currently affiliated with Sony Music Latin.

Real name, Pedro Francisco Rodriguez Sosa, he was born on November 14, 1980, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Capo was no stranger to music as his family had a long history going back two generations. From a young age, he watched his grandfather perform at concerts and traveled with his father, a singer, to his shows. At the age of 14, Pedro Capo lost his father. He, then, started playing the guitar and would later join Marka Registrada. From there, a young Capo embarked on a musical journey. Growing up, Capo studied at Colegio Calasanz.

After spending several years with Marka Registrada, Capo became one of the lead vocalists. Two of their well-known projects include Marka Registrada (1995) and 400 + 400 (1998). The remix featuring Farruko was aired 2 months later. Surpassing the original, the collab has established a whopping 470 million YouTube views in just 4 months. Other notable work included a feature on Matisse’s “Que Fuimos.”
