Osama bin Laden was a terrorist extremist and the founder of al-Qaeda, the organization who planned the 9/11 attacks on the Word Trade Center. He was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on March 10, 1957. He studied at King Abdulaziz University before joining forces with mujahideen in a battle against the Soviet Union. He went on to form the al-Qaeda network. Bin Laden was on the American FBI’s list of most wanted fugitives/terrorists with a $25 million bounty on his head. His death was announced in 2011 stating that he was shot and killed in a terrorist compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Osama bin Laden was 6ft 5in tall and he had an estimated net worth of $50 million.
