Not3s is a British rapper out of Hackney, East London. A versatile artist, he often incorporates the sounds of afropop, dancehall, hip-hop, and R&B into his music. Pronounced notes, the rapper became famous for his 2016 hit single “Addison Lee.” Another standout track, “Aladdin,” also helped the artist establish a name for himself. Lukman Odunaike was born on April 17, 1998, in England. He is of Nigerian ancestry. One of several siblings, he was brought up in a household shouldered by a single mother.

He grew up in a neighborhood that often experienced crime and violence. In March 2015, Not3s released his first song titled “Yesterday” on SoundCloud. Although the track didn’t blow up, it had enough firepower to build his confidence. He continued releasing over the platform slowly building a fan base. In November 2016, the single “Addison Lee” gave Not3s the breakthrough he was looking for. The song, named after a taxi company, immediately went viral on YouTube and Spotify racking up millions of hits. Prior to officially releasing the song, snippets of it, posted on Instagram, had people buzzing for more. After being contacted by several record labels, Not3s signed the track to Relentless Records in March 2017.

Not3s followed up with standout singles “Notice” (March 2017) and “Aladdin” (June 2017). To date, they have received 3.1 million and 23 million views respectively. Toward the ending of 2017, he began touring throughout the UK. Not3s also collaborated with a few of his favorite artists. He partnered with Mabel on “My Lover” remix and “Fine Line.” He also worked with Maleek Berry, Chip, Fredo, and AJ Tracey among others. One of his latest projects, “Just Fine”(August 2018), has close to 2 million YouTube views in 2 months.
