Noah Cyrus is an American actress and singer. She’s the younger sister of pop singer Miley Cyrus. Her acting credits include the series ‘Doc’ and ‘Hannah Montana’, and the films Mostly Ghostly (2008) and Ponyo (2008). Noah Lindsey Cyrus was born on January 8, 2000, in Nashville, Tennessee. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is a musician, and her mother, Tish, a film producer. In addition to Miley, her siblings are Trace, Brandi, Braison, and Christopher.

CAREER
Cyrus made her television debut in the medical drama series, Doc. She held a recurring role as “Gracie Herbert” from 2002 to 2004. She followed up with miscellaneous roles in Hannah Montana (2006-10) alongside her sister. Cyrus held a small role as a “trick or treater” in the film, Mostly Ghostly (2008). She voiced the title character for the English version of the animated film, Ponyo (2008). Cyrus was cast as a background dancer in Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009). She appeared in 3 episodes of the series ‘Take 2’ in 2014. She’s also known for the web show ‘The Noie and Ems Show’ alongside actress Emily Grace Reaves.

Cyrus’ debut single “Make Me (Cry)” was released in November 2016 by RECORDS and Syco Music. The track featured vocals from English musician Labrinth. It charted at #46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Platinum in Canada and Sweden, and Gold in the United States and Australia. Cyrus was featured on the single “Chasing Colors” by Marshmello and Ookay. In April 2017, she released a second single “Stay Together”. The song will be featured on her upcoming album, NC-17.

Cyrus has campaigned for PETA in an effort to ban animal dissections in high school labs. She also opposes the use of horse-drawn carriages in New York City.
