Nikki Glaser is an American stand-up comedian, television/podcast host, and actress. She hosted the Comedy Central comedy talk show Not Safe with Nikki Glaser (2016). Her film credits include Punching the Clown (2009) and Trainwreck (2015). She was a roaster on the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe in 2016. Nikki was born Nicole Rene Glaser on June 1, 1984, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her parents are Julie and Edward. She has a sister named Lauren. Glaser grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she attended Kirkwood High School. She attended the University of Colorado and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in English literature.

CAREER
Glaser began experimenting with stand-up comedy during her freshman year of college. By her senior year, she was performing in open mics. Post-college, she lived in Los Angeles and later New York. Glaser made her television stand-up debut in a 2009 episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Later that year she appeared in the comedy film Punching the Clown (2009) starring Henry Phillips. Glaser was featured in Jordan Brady’s documentary film I Am Comic (2010). She appeared in 2 seasons of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Glaser and comedian Sara Schaefer hosted the podcast ‘You Had To Be There’ from 2011-14. She served as a panelist on two episodes of Red Eye (2011-12). She also appeared on Conan, Last Call with Carson Daly, The Half Hour, and @midnight with Chris Hardwick.

Glaser co-created, co-hosted and executive produced the late-night talk show Nikki & Sara Live (2013). It ran on MTV for two seasons. Her MTV credits also include Failosophy, and Money from Strangers. Glaser appeared alongside Amy Schumer and Bill Hader in the romantic comedy Trainwreck (2015).
