ORIGIN
Night Lovell is a Canadian rapper, songwriter, and music producer. He was formerly known as KLNV. His completed projects include Concept Vague (2014) and Red Teenage Melody (2016). He’s collaborated with artists such as Suicideboys, Fat Nick, Pouya and Dylan Brady. Lovell was born Shermar Paul on May 29, 1997, in Ottawa, Canada. His father is Jamaican and his mother is Haitian. Lovell attended St. Paul High School in Ottawa. He was a standout track and field athlete in the 100m and 200m dash. He competed at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China.

CAREER
Growing up, Lovell listened to Biggie, Jay Z, AC/DC and Wiz Khalifa. He started making beats in 2013 using Fruity Loops (FL Studio). His debut single “Dark Light” was released via SoundCloud in October 2014. The track became an instant hit, racking up more than 14 million spins. Lovell’s 2015 singles include “Shaded Summers” and “Fraud.” He collaborated on the track “Give Me The Keys” with Dylan Brady. Lovell’s debut album, Red Teenage Melody, was released in June 2016. It was led by the single “Contraband.” Other notable tracks from the project include “Still Cold / Pathway Private”, “Boy Red”, “I’m Okay” and “Louis V.” The album featured guest appearances from Nessly, Wavy Drexler, and Dylan Brady. Lovell released three songs in 2017: “Whoever U Are”, “RIP Trust” and “Jamie’s Sin.” His latest track “Joan Of Arc” featuring SuicideBoys was released in May 2018. Lovell is reportedly working on a new album. The project will be titled Good Night Lovell.
