Nicky Jam is one of reggaeton’s most dynamic artists. An American singer, songwriter, and actor, his career took roots back in the early 90s. He first received worldwide attention with the release of his albums “Vida Escante” (2004) and “The Black Carpet” (2007). In 2015, Nicky Jam alongside Enrique Iglesias released “El Perdon” scoring his first number one hit single on the Latin charts. Performing outside his niche, he appeared as Lazarus in the action film “xXx: Return of Xander Cage.” Real name, Nick Rivera Caminero, he was born on March 17, 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts. Capturing the #1 spot on the Latin charts for several weeks, the song rewarded him with various accolades. In 2017, Nicky Jam released another album “Fenix” under Sony Music. The project featured a number of notable singles. In recent work, Nicky Jam partnered with J Balvin on the single “X.” In less than 3 weeks, the video has established over 300 million views on YouTube.
