Naomi Scott is an English actress and singer. She’s known for the series ‘Terra Nova’ and the films Power Rangers (2017) and Lemonade Mouth (2011). Her discography includes the EPs Invisible Division (2014) and Promises (2016). Naomi Grace Scott was born on May 6, 1993, in London, England. Her parents are Usha and Christopher Scott. They’re both ministers at the Bridge Church in London. She has a brother named Josh. Scott graduated from the Davenant Foundation School in 2011. While there she performed in a number of musicals and dramas. She also enjoys playing the piano, songwriting, and dancing.

CAREER
Scott began her music career as a member of the Bridge Church Youth Band. She was discovered by British pop singer Kelle Bryan, who signed her as a client. Kelle Bryan is a member of the R&B girl group Eternal. Scott continued her budding music career with the songwriting/production team Xenomania. She was featured on the single “Breakthrough” from the album Lemonade Mouth (2011). Her debut EP, Invisible Division, was self-released in August 2014. It was led by the single “Motions”. The official music video for ‘Motions’ was directed by Peter Szewczyk. Scott’s second EP, Promises, was released in August 2016. It included the singles “Fool”, “Prayer-Lude” and “Lover’s Lies”.

Scott made her television debut as “Megan” in the Disney Channel UK series Life Bites. The show ran from 2008 to 2009 for a total of 28 episodes. She then starred as Mohini “Mo” Banjaree in Disney Channel original movie, Lemonade Mouth (2011). It marked her first role in an American production. Scott starred as “Maddy Shannon” in the Fox science fiction series, Terra Nova (2013). She held a recurring role as “Sahira Desai” on season 9 of the series Lewis (2015-16). Scott had a small role in the film, The 33 (2015), starring Antonio Banderas. That same year she filmed scenes for The Martian (2015) but it never made the final cut. Scott starred as “Kimberly Hart” aka “Pink Ranger” in the superhero film, Power Rangers (2017). The role earned her a Teen Choice Award nomination. In 2017, she was cast as “Princess Jasmine” in the live-action remake of Aladdin. The cast also include Mena Massoud (Aladdin) and Will Smith (Genie).
