ORIGIN
Self-proclaimed “Saturn Boy” aka Mak Sauce is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to his extraterrestrial persona, he’s also known for his unmatched creativity. Since his 2016 debut, Max Sauce has released tracks like “Good Morning”, “Swerve” and “Super Mario.” His completed projects include What Is World (2019), Saturn Boy (2019), b4 The Album (2018), and Blind To Reality (2017). Mac Sauce has released music via Quality Control Music and more recently via Run-It-Up Records. He’s collaborated with fellow recording artist DaBaby, Lil Keed, Lil Baby and a few others.

Mak Sauce was born Malik Lynch on September 17, 2001, in Atlanta, Georgia. His mom’s name is Dawn and she supports his career path. Malik dropped out of high school shy of his diploma. He’s also admitted to having been locked up a few times as a teenager. Malik only started pursuing music seriously in his late teens. He was completely sold after hearing his voice on the mic for the first time. The stage name “Mak Sauce” was derived from Mcdonald’s “Big Mac Sauce.”

CAREER
In November 2016, Mak Sauce dropped his debut mixtape ‘Definition of Sauce.’ The project was hosted by DJ Smoove K and it featured production from Young Menace, Kid Ocean, Steezy DaKid, and several others. It’s racked up more than 12K downloads and 19K streams on Spinrilla. The first installment of Mak Sauce’s mixtape series ‘Blind to Reality’ arrived in March 2017. Three of the tracks were produced by CashMoneyAP, including fan favorites “Swerve” and “Hoppy.” The supporting music video for Hoppy was directed by Gabriel Hart.

Mak Sauce signed to the Quality Control label in 2017. His labelmates at the time included Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, and the hip-hop trio Migos. His QC debut, Blind to Reality 2, was released on Halloween (October 31, 2017). It featured production from BricksOnDaBeat, CashMoneyAP, and Zaytoven among others. A guest appearance was made by Big Boe on the song “Quand Je.” In January 2018, Mak Sauce released the joint project ‘Freeze Up’ with Paper Lovee. It included songs “Freezie” and “I Can Do It.”

Mak Sauce closed out 2018 with the 12-track tape ‘Lost’ via Run-It-Up Records. It boasted songs like “Super Mario”, “Hater$” and “Hulk.” His non-album single “Good Morning” (prod. by DirtyySteve) dropped in June 2019. The accompanying visuals (dir. by Class Clown Films) attracted 4.8 million views in under 4 months. Mak Sauce’s next project, Saturn Boy, premiered in July 2019 via the Run-It-Up label. It featured guest verses from DaBaby (“Do It”), Paper Lovee (“Punani”), and S3nsi Molly (“Trap Cinderella”). The visual for ‘Do It’ was shot in Denver, Colorado.

In 2019, Mak Sauce appeared on singles such as “New Sherrif” by HanVader, “F*Ck It Up” by Jae Hilfigures, “Count Down” by Young Bully, and “Driving Crazy” by Lightskin Legend. In August 2019, he recruited Lil Keed on “Can He Breathe” and Lil Baby on “Bando Beaters.” The latter was released by Run-iT-Up and Saturn Savages Records. Mak Sauce’s latest project, What is World, was released in October 2019. It featured guest artists (TK Kravitz, Yung Bino, MoneyMarr) and producers (MathiasTyner, TOOM).

PERSONAL
Mak Sauce is around 5ft 10in tall and he’s known for his signature look (dyed hair, clothing, face tattoos, etc). He has “Yass$” inked over his left eye. Another One of his face tats reads “Love Me Like Dawn” in honor of his mother. Mak Sauce has an estimated net worth of $300 thousand USD.
