Lonr. is an American songwriter turned singer from Los Angeles, California His breakout single “A.M.” arrived in late 2019. A second track “Safe Zone” followed closely thereafter. Lonr. was born Elijah Dias on April 19, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. At age 8, he moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He admitted that his neighborhood was tough and lacked diversity. Lonr. worked behind the scenes for much of his early career. He spent countless hours mastering the art of songwriting and music production. The “Lonr” moniker stands for “Land Of Nothing Real.” In 2017, Lonr. was recruited by R&B singer H.E.R. as a songwriter. He penned several popular tracks for her, including “As I AM”, “Feel A Way” and “Take You There.” Working with H.E.R. has resulted in two Grammy Award nominations. He also performed at H.E.R.’s Lights On festival in Concord, California.
Lonr.’s debut solo single “A.M.” was released in September 2019. He wrote the party track upon returning to Los Angeles, one of his few visits since leaving as a kid. Lonr. talks relationship in his next single titled “Safe Zone”, released on November 23, 2019. The trap-influenced song features a dynamic guitar lead. In November 2019, Lonr. performed at SOB’s in New York City as part of Souly Had’s “B.L.I.S.S.” Tour. He shared the stage with Souly Had and 12 AM.
