Lilbootycall is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from San Antonio, Texas. In addition to his stage name, he’s probably best known for the 2016 viral hit single “Sailor Moon.” Other popular tracks include “Butterfly”, “Yugioh” and “777” with Cuco and Kwe$t. He’s collaborated with Cloud125 and Lil Weeb. Lilbootycall is currently signed to Warner Bros. Records. His full-length debut album is slated for Spring 2019.

Given name, Micheal Bocanegra, he was born on August 19, 1996, in San Antonio, Texas. His parents would later divorce, causing him to bounce between the north (mother) and south (father) sides of San Antonio. He suffered from social anxiety and he wasn’t the coolest kid in high school. Bocanegra started out creating beats using the Garageband software on his MacBook (courtesy of his dad).
