Lil Bibby is an American rapper and songwriter. He’s best known for his “Free Crack” mixtape series. His discography also includes Big Buckz (2016), FC3: The Epilogue (2017), and No Limitations (2017). Bibby was born Brandon George Dickinson Jr. on July 18, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois. His mom’s name is Kathy. She gave up drugs after struggling with addiction for many years. Bibby completed his GED and is currently studying computer engineering at Illinois State University. He also played basketball when he was younger.

CAREER
Bibby grew up listening to artists like Drake, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane and Jadakiss. His debut mixtape, Free Crack, was released in November 2013 by Grade A Productions. It was led by the singles “How We Move” and “Stressin”. It featured guest vocals from Lil Herb and King Louie. The title of the mixtape was inspired by Kanye West‘s 2005 track “Crack Music”. The success of Bibby’s debut earned him a spot on the cover of Vibe magazine. He was also dubbed one of the artists to keep an eye on in 2014 by Vibe.

Bibby was named to the 2014 XXL Freshman Class. The second installment of his “Free Crack” mixtape was released in August 2014. It was hosted by DJ Drama and it featured Kevin Gates on the track “We Are Strong”, and Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J on “For The Low Pt. 2”. Lil Bibby’s debut EP, Big Buckz, was released in August 2016. It featured guest artist Lil Durk and productions from C-Sick, Metro Boomin, Southside and Luca Vialli. His second EP, FC3: The Epilogue, was released in March 2017 by Kemosabe Records. He also collaborated with rapper G Herbo on the album, No Limitations (2017).
