Kyle Pavone was an American musician. He served as a vocalist and keyboardist for the metalcore band We Came as Romans. The group released 5 full-length studio albums, namely To Plant a Seed (2009), Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be (2011), Tracing Back Roots (2013), We Came as Romans (2015), and Cold Like War (2017). They’ve worked with the labels Equal Vision, SharpTone, Nuclear Blast, Spinefarm, and We Are Unified. Pavone was born on June 5, 1990, in Birmingham, Michigan. He had a sister named Isabel. He died on August 25, 2018, at age 28.

Pavone is a singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and producer. He joined the metalcore band We Came as Romans (WCAR) in 2008. He was a direct replacement for Chris Moore. WCAR was formed in 2005 in Troy, Michigan. The current lineup includes Joshua Moore, Dave Stephens, Lou Cotton, Andy Glass, and David Puckett. They’ve released 2 EPs and 5 studio albums. The band’s debut studio album, To Plant a Seed, was released in November 2009 by Equal Vision Records. It produced two singles “To Plant a Seed” and “To Move On It to Grow.” The album’s third track “Intentions” featured guest vocals from Tyler “Telle” Smith. WCAR’s sophomore album, Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be, was released in September 2011. It was led by the single “Mis//Understanding.” A deluxe edition of the album was released in April 2013.

Pavone and his bandmates released their third album, Tracing Back Roots, in July 2013. It peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top Rock Albums chart. The album was supported by the singles “Hope”, “Tracing Back Roots” and “Fade Away.” It sold more than 75,000 units in the United States. We Came as Romans released their self-titled album in July 2015. It marked their fourth and final release on the Equal Vision label. The album charted in countries like the US, Australia, and Germany. We Came as Romans signed with SharpTone Records in 2016. Their SharpTone label debut ‘Cold Like War’ was released in October 2017. It rose to #4 on the Top Independent Albums chart.

Kyle Pavone died on August 25, 2018, at the age of 28. His official cause of death was not disclosed. News of his passing was confirmed on social media by his WCAR bandmates. On August 18, 2018, Pavone tweeted the line “Will I be remembered or will I be lost in loving eyes” from the single “Promise Me” from Cold Like War (2017). He was rushed to a Michigan hospital on Sunday, August 19, 2018, but died six days later. Pavone was about 5ft 10in tall and he had multiple tattoos. He was a Gemini.
