Kawhi Leonard is an American NBA player currently signed to the Los Angeles Clippers. He’s a 2X NBA champion and 2X NBA Finals MVP. Leonard stands 6ft 7in tall and plays the small forward position. He’s also known for his massive 9.75in hands. Kawhi Anthony Leonard was born to parents Kim and Mark on June 29, 1991, in Los Angeles, California. He attended Canyon Springs High School followed by Martin Luther King High School. He spent two years at San Diego State University prior to being drafted.

Leonard led the King High Wolves varsity team to a 32-3 record his junior year. He was named L.A. Player of the Year after averaging 22.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists his senior year. He was teammates with Tony Snell. Leonard continued his basketball career at San Diego State University. He played two seasons with the Aztecs from 2009 to 2011. His college honors include 2x All-Mountain West First Team, Second Team All-American, and NABC All-American Third Team.

Leonard was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. He was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in June 2011 and he signed his rookie contract in December 2011. Leonard was named to the 2012 NBA All-Rookie First Team and he finished fourth in the Rookie of the Year voting. He won his first NBA championship in 2014 with a 4-1 record over the Miami Heat.
