CAREER
Pierson supported Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election. She became an activist for the Tea Party movement shortly after. Pierson offered her support to Ted Cruz during the 2012 Senate race in Texas. She entered the Texas congressional race two years later but the support was not reciprocated.
