Justin Bieber is a Canadian-born singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on March 1, 1994, in London, Ontario. His mother, Patricia Mallette, is an author and his father, Jeremy Bieber, was a carpenter. Bieber grew up in Stratford, Ontario where he attended St. Michael Catholic Secondary School (2012). He learned to play various instruments like the piano, drums and guitar.

CAREER
Bieber was discovered on the video-sharing platform, YouTube. This was thanks in part to his mom posting videos of him covering popular R&B songs from artists like Ne-Yo, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Bieber was recruited by talent manager, Scooter Braun, who moved him to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 13. He was signed to Usher and Braun’s label, Raymond Braun Media Group, and later to Island Records (2008).

Bieber’s debut single “One Time” was released on May 18, 2009. The song was a commercial success and has since been certified Platinum in the United States and Canada. Bieber followed up with his debut EP, My World, six months later. His debut studio album, My World 2.0, was released on March 23, 2010 at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200. The album featured the hit singles “Baby”, “U Smile” and “Somebody to Love”. In 2011, Bieber starred in the concert documentary film, Never Say Never. The sequel, Believe, was released in late 2013. Bieber’s fourth album, Purpose, was released on November 13, 2015. The lead singles “What Do You Mean?”, “Sorry” and “Love Yourself” all peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single “Cold Water” which features Major Lazer and MØ was released in June 2016

PERSONAL
Justin Bieber is 5ft 8in tall and he’s of German, Irish, English, Scottish and French-Canadian ancestry. His net worth is estimated at $280 million. He’s dated several celebrities including, Selena Gomez, Yovanna Ventura and Sofia Richie. Bieber got engaged to model/television personality Hailey Baldwin in July 2018. The two got married later that year.
