Josh Brolin is an American film and television actor. His acting credits include the films No Country for Old Men (2007), W. (2008), Milk (2008), and the series The Young Riders (1989-92). He was cast as “Nathan Summers / Cable” in the upcoming superhero film Deadpool 2 (2008). Josh James Brolin was born on February 12, 1968, in Santa Monica, California. His father, James, is an actor, and his late mother, Jane, was a wildlife activist. He has a brother, Jess, and a half-sister, Molly. Brolin grew up in Templeton, California. His parents separated when he was a teenager.

CAREER
Brolin found his passion for acting after taking an improv acting class in high school. His feature film debut was the adventure-comedy, The Goonies (1985). The film was directed by Richard Donner and also stars Sean Astin and Corey Feldman. His second film, Thrashin (1986), proved to be less successful. Brolin moved to the small screen with a lead role as “Johnny Betz” in the NBC crime-drama series, Private Eye (1987-88). His next big role was that of “James Butler Hickok” in the ABC western series, The Young Riders. The show ran from September 1989 to June 1992 for 3 seasons. Other television appearances include ’21 Jump Street’, ‘Winnetka Road’, ‘The Outer Limits’, and ‘Mister Sterling’. He narrated the documentary series Mankind: The Story of All of Us (2012) for the History Channel.

Brolin had a small but memorable role in the comedy film, Flirting with Disaster (1996). In 2007, he co-starred as “Llewelyn Moss” in No Country for Old Men (2007) alongside Tommy Lee Jones and Javier Bardem. Brolin portrayed President “George W. Bush” in the biographical drama, W. (2008). He won an Oscar Award nomination for best-supporting actor for his role as “Dan White” in Milk (2008). The film was directed by Gus Van Sant and stars Sean Penn and Emile Hirsch.
