John Bradbury was an English musician, instrumentalist and music producer. He was the lead drummer for the ska revival band, The Specials. Bradbury was born on February 16, 1953 in Coventry, England. He studied Fine Art at Kingston-upon-Hull Regional College before venturing into music. His early influences include American drummer Al Jackson, Jr. and Jamaican drummer Sly Dunbar. He joined ‘The Specials’ in 1979 and released their hit single ‘Free Nelson Mandela’ in 1984. Other top 10 hits include ‘Ghost Town’, ‘Too Much Too Young’ and ‘A Message to You Rudie’. Bradbury was a member of ‘The Specials’ from 1979-1984 and from 2008-2015. His other notable bands include, JB Allstars, Special Beat, and The Selecter. John Bradbury died on December 28, 2015 at the age of 62. His cause of death was not disclosed. John Bradbury’s height and estimated net worth is currently unknown.
