Joan Rivers was an American actress, comedian and television host known for her appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’, creating a Grammy Award nominated comedy album and for her daytime talk show ‘The Joan Rivers Show’. She co-hosted the celebrity fashion show ‘Fashion Police’ which aired on E!. Rivers grew up in Brooklyn, New York and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Bernard College. Prior to show business, she worked as a tour guide at Rockefeller Center and as a consultant at Bond Clothing Stores. She’s the author of 12 best-selling memoir/humor books. She won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1990, and a Grammy Award in 2015. She died in 2014 from cardiac arrest. Joan Rivers had an estimated net worth of $150 million.
