Jim Morrison was an American rock singer and songwriter for the 1960 rock group ‘The Doors’. He was born in Melbourne, Florida on December 8, 1943. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he completed his undergraduate degree. While at UCLA he met the members who would later become ‘The Doors’. Morrison is know for his songwriting prowess on albums like’ Moonlight Drive’ released 1967 and ‘Hello, I Love You’ released 1968. He separated from the group in 1971 and took up poetry. Jim Morrison had a net worth of $15 million. He died at the age of 27 on December July 3, 1971 due to heart failure.
