Jana Kramer is an American country singer and television actress. She held prominent roles in the series One Tree Hill, and Friday Night Lights. Kramer was born to parents Nora and Martin on December 2, 1983 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Her older brother, Steve, works in law enforcement. Kramer is an alumna of Rochester Adams High School.

CAREER
Kramer landed her first film role in the 2002 independent horror flick, Dead/Undead. Her television debut came the following year in a 2003 episode of All My Children. Kramer held supporting roles in Click (2006) with Adam Sandler, Prom Night (2008) with Brittany Snow, and Spring Break (2009) with Amy Poehler. She was cast as “Noelle Davenport” in 5 episodes of Friday Night Lights (2007). In 2009, Kramer was added to the main cast of the hit drama series, One Tree Hill. She played the role of “Alex Dupre” for a total of 43 episodes. Other notable television appearances include Grey’s Anatomy, 90210, and Entourage.

Aside from acting, Kramer is a recording artist with two studio albums under her belt. Her self title debut, Jana Kramer, was released in June 2012 by Elektra Records. The album peaked at #5 on the Billboard Top Country chart. It featured the tracks “Why Ya Wanna”, and “Whiskey”. Kramer’s sophomore album, Thirty One, was released in 2015 by Warner Music Group. It spawned the singles “I Got the Boy”, and “Love”.

Kramer will compete on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars. Her professional dance partner is Russian choreographer, Gleb Savchenko.
