Gwei Noel Yengong is a young Cameroonian fashion designer and entrepreneur. He was born in the North-Western Region of Cameroon (Banso) to a family of six. He started his primary education in the city of Bamenda, but later moved to London after completing his secondary curriculum. In London, he studied and pursued digital marketing, but forfeited those ambitions in 2012 after realizing that his true passion lies in Fashion Designing and Image Consulting. Noel also expressed a love for cinematography, completing his first degree in the Art at the SAE Institute in Berlin – Germany amongst the 2014 batch. He currently resides between London – UK and Berlin – Germany as a professional image consultant and fashion designer at Alessandro Veneto

Gwei Noel Yengong’s greatest inspiration was his late uncle Nzante Spee who was one of the greatest African painters. In 2013, he kick-started his career as a fashion consultant providing clients with everlasting, unique, and elegant personal looks via social media. As a fashion designer, Noel acquired international recognition with his eccentric blend of African fabrics and Italian influences. “Fusion Style” is what he calls the look, an appearance that showcases the influence of young Africans who believe self-expression can be achieved without cultural overkill.
“Fusion Style” would attract the attention of Elle Magazine, Esquire, and other fashion Catalog. Aside from pursuing his career as an Image Consultant and Designer, Noel is also recognized as one of the most successful African online entrepreneurs and real estate investors with properties in over 4 cities in Cameroon. In 2013 – 2016, in the early years of the drop shipping trend, he raised over $1.7Million in profit via drop shipping e-commerce which helped him build a real estate empire in his home country. He’s also made an appearance in the Forbes Magazine.
In 2018, Gwei Noel Yengong decided to combine business and passion by starting up a clothing brand of elegance and luxury “Alessandro Veneto.” Poised to become one of the most unique high-street fashion brands, the line is innovatively run by Noel, the creative director and general CEO.
