9lokkNine (formerly GlokkNine) is an American rapper currently signed to Cash Money Records. The Florida native is known for bangers like “10 Percent”, “Crayola”, “Talm Bout” and “I Don’t Need No Help.” His discography includes Kold Face Kold Kase (2018), Bloodshells Revenge (2018), and Loyalty Kill Love (2018). 9lokkNine was born Jacquavius Dennard Smith on May 1, 2000, in Orlando, Florida. He has 3 brothers. As per his No Jumper Interview, growing up, his pops was in and out of jail. 9lokkNine also revealed that he had been arrested more than 10 times by age 18. His first viral hit “JailHizeeBlues” was written while he was locked up.

CAREER
9lokkNine was drawn to hip-hop music at a young age. His first track “Ugly” was released via SoundCloud in September 2017. He followed up with “GangGang”, “First Day Out” and “Roman Numerals” featuring Poody & Mikey. 9lokkNine released his debut EP, Kold Face Kold Kase, in January 2018. It featured standout tracks “Az-Za” and “JailHizeeBlues.” The official video for JailHizeeBlues was released as a WorldStarHipHop exclusive, racking up 1.9+ million views within 8 months. March 2018, saw the release of “Crayola” and “Rockk N Roll” featuring LPB Poody & Rugrat OD.

9lokkNine’s debut mixtape, Bloodshells Revenge, dropped in April 2018. It featured production from Gelato, Yung Lando, and a few others. The tape was led by the single “I Don’t Need No Help”, produced by Timeline. The accompanying JMB-directed video has 3+ million views on YouTube. Other standout tracks from Bloodshells Revenge include “Chain Gang”, “10 Percent” and “Kill Kill.” Between projects, 9lokkNine released “Lion (Freestyle)” and “Great Vine.” His 17-track tape, Loyalty Kill Love, arrived in July 2018. It was supported by songs “Knikk Knakk” and “Talm Bout.” The project featured guest vocal from YBN Almighty Jay.

In August 2018, 9lokkNine signed to Cash Money Records. The label is headed by Birdman and Slim tha Don. Cash Money Records is home to Nicki Minaj, Jacquees and Karine Hannah to name a few. The mixtape, Lil Glokk That Stole Khristmas, dropped in December 2018. It featured tracks “GraveDigga”, “Leonardo Da G9” and “223’s” alongside YNW Melly. The GlokkNine moniker was officially changed to “9lokkNine” on May 30, 2019. His single “Beef” featuring NLE Choppa and Murda Beatz premiered in June 2019.
