George W. Bush is an American politician, 43rd president of the United States, and oldest child of Barbara Bush. He was born on July 6, 1946, in New Haven, Connecticut. Bush graduated from Yale University in 1968 and Harvard Business School in 1975. He worked in the oil business and served as 46th Governor of Texas (1995-2000) as a Republican. He narrowly defeated Al Gore in 2000 to become the 43rd president of the U.S. He responded to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack by launching the ‘War on Terror’ against Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush was re-elected in 2004 for a second term over opponent John Kerry. He’s alive and well and his estimated net worth is $40 million.
