Wally was discovered by the Dutch producer Johnny Hoes in the 1960s. His hit single “Chérie” was released in 1965 and ranked #1 on the Belgian charts for eight consecutive weeks. Other notable songs include “I’ll jump out of an aeroplane” and “Dans Mi Amor”. Wally had performed in various parts of the world including China, Australia, Europe, and the United States. He made several guest appearances on the television program, Eurotrash. He was also the subject of an internet meme “Wow”.
