Ed Westwick is an English television and film actor. He starred as “Chuck Bass” in The CW series Gossip Girl (2007-12). His film credits include Son of Rambow (2007), S. Darko (2009), Chalet Girl (2011), and J. Edgar (2011). Westwick was born Edward Jack Peter Westwick on June 27, 1987, in London, England. His mother, Carole, is an educational psychologist, and his father, Peter, a university lecturer. He has two older siblings, including a brother named Will. Westwick attended The Barclay School followed by North Hertfordshire College. He also trained at London’s National Youth Theatre.

Westwick made his feature film debut in Children of Men (2006) starring Clive Owen. That same year he appeared in Anthony Minghella’s Breaking and Entering (2006). They were inspired by acts like The Doors, Kings of Leon, and the Rolling Stones. The Filthy Youth was active from 2006 to the early 2010s.
