Up-and-coming rapper, Duke Deuce is an emerging new talent out of Memphis, Tennessee. His music depicts raw uncensored lyrics about various topics including girls, money, and early upbringings. His discography contains the popular singles “Yeh,” “Grab A…” ft. Tay Keith and “Freaky Lil Bih,” alongside ATM Richbaby. In September of 2018, he released his debut project, Memphis Massacre. In Addition to the aforementioned artists, Duke Deuce has collaborated with Offset, Project Pat, Lil Yachty, and others. Duke Deuce was born Patavious Isom on May 1, 1992, in Memphis, Tennessee. He grew up in the Blackhaven section of the city. During an interview, he described his upbringing as been “rough but fun.” Duke Deuce was raised by his mother. His father is a producer, thus he was introduced to music from an early age. Despite the early exposure, he didn’t pursue the craft seriously until age 19. Growing up, he tuned in to Lil Wayne and always wanted to be like the rapper. Other artists that graced his playlist included Three 6 Mafia, Project Pat, Bankroll Fresh, Migos, plus other Memphis exponents. As a young producer, he also experimented with beats and created a few of his own.

CAREER
Duke Deuce had an online footprint since the early 2010s, however, it wasn’t until 2018, after the release of the single “Whole Lotta,” did his career advanced. The single and accompanying music video were released in January of 2018. It immediately caught fire and, in the coming months, racked up hundreds of thousands of streams. “Whole Lotta” popped up on Offset’s radar and the Migos’ superstar reached out to Duke Deuce. After the rappers met in Los Angeles, Duke Deuce inked a contract with Quality Control Music several months later.

On September 7, 2018, he unveiled his debut studio mixtape, “Memphis Massacre.” The project contained 15 tracks and featured Project Pat and Offset. It was anchored by the tracks “Whole Lotta” and “Unload” ft. Offset. “No Smoke” and “Chosen” were two other heat that also demanded attention.

In 2019, Duke Deuces’ music career rose to unprecedented heights. On June 1st, he dropped his most dynamic single yet, “Yeh.” The music video, which featured the accompanying dance move, went ballistic upon upload. Produced by Ayoza and Directed by Zach_Hurth, It accumulated 5.5 million views on YouTube in 6 months. The audio has been played over 5 million times across various platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud.

The following month, he collaborated with ATM Richbaby on the summer anthem, “Freaky Lil Bih.” Released on July 1st, the track has now witnessed over 27 million streams and continues to expand rapidly. On August 21, Duke Deuce dropped yet another heat, “Grab A…” ft. Tay Keith. It, too, quickly accumulated millions of streams and now sits among his hottest tracks.

Duke Deuce’s most recent singles are “Crunk Aint Dead” and “Ya Heard Me.” Many of his latest videos have earned an exclusive feature on WorldStarHipHop. Aside from recording in the studio booth, he also performed live throughout Memphis. His last performance was on December 5th, at The Hi Tone
