Drew Scott is a Canadian realtor, entrepreneur, Television personality, and co-founder of Scott Brothers Entertainment. He’s best known for co-hosting Property Brothers alongside his twin brother Jonathan. His television credits include Brother Vs. Brother, Buying and Selling, and Brothers Take New Orleans. Scott was born Andrew Alfred Scott on April 28, 1978, in Vancouver, Canada. His parents are Jim and Joanne Scott. He has two brothers, James Daniel “J.D.” and identical twin Jonathan. Scott attended Thomas Haney Secondary School followed by the University of Calgary. He majored in kinesiology and played both varsity and college basketball. His basketball career was cut short due to injuries. In later years, he competed in charity/celebrity games such as the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and with the Harlem Globetrotters. He also holds a 2nd-degree black belt in karate.

CAREER
Scott started out acting in theater and in sketch comedy. He made his professional acting debut at age 19 on the series Madison. Early television appearances include shows like ‘Breaker High’ and ‘Smallville’. Scott and his brother flipped their first home while they were attending university. They made a $50,000 in profit after making minor repairs. The two decided to obtain the necessary license after having several negative experiences with realtors. Scott became a licensed realtor while Jonathan became a licensed contractor. Along with their older brother J.D., they co-founded Scott Brothers Entertainment in 2002. Two years later they founded Scott Real Estate Inc. The company employs dozens of workers and has offices in Vancouver, Calgary, and Las Vegas.

Drew and Jonathan’s flagship show ‘Property Brothers’ premiered in 2009. It is produced by Cineflix. The program airs on W Network in Canada and on HGTV in the United States. On the show, Drew scouts out fixer-uppers and negotiates prices while Jonathan does the renovations. The show was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2015 for its outstanding reality program. The Property Brother franchise includes series like Buying and Selling, Brother Vs. Brother, Property Brothers: At Home, and Brothers Take New Orleans. Their web series include Brothers Big Day Off, and Toddler Vs. Toddler. The duo debuted a line of backyard decor in 2015. They’re also known for the weekly podcast My Brother, My Brother and Me.

The Scott brothers co-hosted the 2014 Rose Parade alongside Nancy O’Dell. They made a guest appearance on Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen in 2016. Their book ‘Dream Home: The Property Brothers’ Ultimate Guide to Finding & Fixing Your Perfect House, was published in April 2016. Drew Scott is a contestant on season 25 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. His professional dancer partner is dancer/choreographer Emma Slater.
