Don Toliver is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. He was featured on the track “Can’t Say” from Travis Scott‘s hit album Astroworld (2018). Toliver’s debut tape, Donny Womack (2018), was released by Atlantic and We Run It Records. Other standout songs include “No Idea”, “Best You Had” and “Back Up” featuring Wiz Khalifa. He made a cameo in Nav’s music video for “Champion.”

Given name, Caleb Zackery Toliver, he was born on June 12, 1994, in Houston, Texas. His childhood was spent in the suburban community of Southwest Alief (SWAT). Toliver aims to fuse R&B and Trap in what he calls “Trap&B.” He cited Dom Kennedy as one of his favorite rappers. Additionally, he grew up to the sounds of Mike Jones and Big Mo. The titling of the mixtape was a spin-off of the late Bobby Womack’s name. It boasted 13 tracks, including “Diamonds”, “Backend” and “Holdin’ Steel” featuring Dice Soho. Matching music videos were released for ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Holdin’ Steel.’

Toliver landed a guest verse on Travis Scott’s single “Can’t Say” from his 3rd album Astroworld (2018). The two connected back in 2017 and they ended up working on the collab in Honolulu, Hawaii. Toliver picked up a Twitter co-sign from Travis Scott following the album’s release. He was later signed to Scott’s Cactus Jack Records. Toliver’s 2019 songs include “Best You Had”, “No Idea” and “Situation.” The video for No Idea (directed by Grant Singer) has been viewed 1.9+ million times.
