Dean Jones was an American movie actor born on January 25, 1931 in Decatur, Alabama. He played leading roles in films like ‘The Love Bug (1968)’, ‘St. John in Exile (1986)’ and ‘Beethoven (1992)’. Prior to acting, Jones ran his own local radio show ‘Dean Jones Sings’. He made his Broadway debut in the 1960 play ‘There Was a Little Girl’. He was married twice and fathered three children. Dean Jones died on September 1, 2015 after battling Parkinson’s disease.
