Dawn Wells was an American film and television actress. She played “Mary Ann Summers” on the television series ‘Gilligan’s Island’. Wells grew up in Reno, Nevada, where she attended Reno High School. She majored in chemistry while attending college but transferred and graduated with a degree in theater arts and design. Wells’ first television appearance was in 1961 where she played the character “Piney” from the crime-adventure series ‘The Everglades’.
Dawn Wells died on December 30, 2020, at the age of 82. Her cause of death was complications from COVID-19. Wells was married to Larry Rosen from 1962 to 1967. She had an estimated net worth of $500 Thousand prior to her death.
