Dan Bilzerian is an American professional poker player, actor, stuntman, and social medial personality. His film credits include Lone Survivor (2013) and Extraction (2015). He has more than 22 million fans on Instagram. Bilzerian was born on December 7, 1980, in Tampa, Florida. His father, Paul, is a private equity trader. He was arrested and jailed in 1989 for fraud and stock manipulation. His mother is Terri Steffen. He has a younger brother, Adam, who’s also a poker player. Bilzerian was expelled from school after he brought an M16 machine gun on campus. He enlisted in the Navy SEAL training program in 2000. He spent 510 days before he was honorably discharged. He challenged and beat attorney Tom Goldstein in a drag race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Clark County, Nevada. The prize money was $400,000. Dubbed the “king of Instagram”, Bilzerian is also known for his presence on social media. He has 22+ million followers on Instagram, 12+ million on Facebook, and 1+ million on Twitter. Amidst his popularity, he announced in 2015 that he would run for President of the United States. He dropped out of the race and endorsed Donald Trump in the process.
