Corey Feldman is an American actor, singer, and frontman of the rock band Truth Movement. His acting credit includes Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), The Goonies (1985), The Lost Boys (1987), and The Two Coreys (2007-08). He’s released 5 studio albums, including Former Child Actor (2002) and Angelic 2 the Core (2016). Feldman was born on July 16, 1971, in Los Angeles, California. His father, Bob, is a musician, and his mother, Sheila, a former Playboy bunny. He has four siblings, Mindy, Eden, Devin, and Brittnie. Feldman became legally emancipated from his parents at the age of 15. He attended Stoneridge Preparatory School in Simi Valley.
CAREER
Feldman began his career as a child actor. At age 3, he appeared in a commercial for McDonald’s. He’s since appeared in 100+ commercials, 50+ television shows, and 60+ films. His television credits include Mork & Mindy, Cheers, and The Bad News Bears. Feldman’s film debut was Time After Time (1979) starring Malcolm McDowell. He voiced the character “Young Copper” in the animated drama film The Fox and the Hound (1981). His first starring role was as “Tommy Jarvis” in the slasher film, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984). The film was directed by Joseph Zito and it made $33 million at the box office. Feldman followed up with prominent roles in Gremlins (1984) with Zach Galligan, The Goonies (1985) with Sean Astin, and Stand by Me (1986) with Wil Wheaton.
Feldman appeared in several films alongside fellow actor Corey Haim. They starred in The Lost Boys (1987), in which Feldman was cast as “Edgar Frog”. The film became a cult classic. The role of Edgar Frog was reprised in Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) and Lost Boys: The Thirst (2010). His more recent films include The Zombie King (2013), and Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015). Feldman and Haim starred in the A&E reality series ‘The Two Coreys’. It ran for 2 seasons from July 2007 to April 2008. During the show, both actors confessed that they had been sexually abused as boys. Hiam died of natural causes in 2010. He was 38.
