Colton Haynes is an American model turned actor. He starred as “Jackson Whittemore” in the MTV series Teen Wolf, and as “Roy Harper” in The CW series Arrow. His film credits include San Andreas (2015) and Rough Night (2017). Haynes was born to parents Dana and William on July 13, 1988, in Wichita, Kansas. He has five brothers and sisters, including Clinton, Joshua, and Willow. Haynes lived and attended schools in several different states. He’s a graduate of Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz, Texas.

CAREER
Haynes moved to New York City in his mid-teens to pursue modeling. He gained early recognition by appearing in a photoshoot for American retailer Abercrombie & Fitch. The photos were taken by fashion photographer Bruce Weber. Haynes has since done campaigns for Ralph Lauren, J.C. Penney, and Verizon. He’s been featured in such publications as Teen Vogue, XY, and Arena magazine.

Haynes made his television debut in a 2007 episode of the drama series, CSI: Miami. He followed up with guest appearances in Privileged (2008), Pushing Daisies (2008), and Melrose Place (2009). Haynes starred as a werewolf named “Brett Crezski” in the ABC series The Gates (2010). He was cast as “Shane”, a high school boy, in Look: The Series (2010).

Haynes landed his breakout role as “Jackson Whittemore” in the MTV supernatural drama series, Teen Wolf (2011-12). The show also stars Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Dylan O’Brien. He then starred as “Roy Harper” aka “Arsenal” in The CW action crime series, Arrow (2013-16). Haynes’ big screen debut was an uncredited role in the sci-fi blockbuster, Transformers (2007). His film credits include San Andreas (2015) with Dwayne Johnson, and Rough Night (2017) with Scarlett Johansson.
