Christopher Lloyd is an American actor best know for his role as Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown in the ‘Back to the Future’ series. He was born on October 22, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut but he grew up in New Canaan. Christopher took acting lessons at age 19 in New York City and made his big-screen debut in ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975)’. He would move on to play “Reverend” Jim Ignatowski on the sitcom ‘Taxi’. His 40+ years career earned him various awards including an Independent Spirit Award, 3 Primetime Emmy Awards along with several award nominations.
