Chris Soules is an American reality star and farmer. He was the star of season 19 of ABC’s The Bachelor. His television credits include The Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars, and Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition. Soules was born Christopher Douglas Soules on November 6, 1981, in Arlington, Iowa. His parents are Gary and Linda. He has three older sisters, Lisa, Lori, and Jaci. Soules attended Starmont High School where he competed in football, track, and wrestling. During this time he earned his State FFA degree in soybean proficiency. Soules continued his education at Iowa State University. He graduated in 2004 with a double major in agricultural studies and agronomy.

CAREER
Soules was a contestant on season 10 of The Bachelorette with Andi Dorfman. He finished in third place behind Nick Viall and Josh Murray. His popularity on the show cemented his role as the star of season 19 of The Bachelor. A total of 30 women competed for his affection. The final rose and proposal went to Whitney Bischoff.

Following his run on The Bachelor, Soules became a contestant on season 20 of Dancing with the Stars. He was partnered with Latin/ballroom dancer Witney Carson. He suffered a calf injury during the competition and ultimately finished in 5th place. Soules appeared on Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition in 2015.
