BTG Dre was born Norman De’Andre Cox on December 26, 2000, in Baltimore, Maryland. His father, Norman, is a truck driver, and his mother, Andrea, is a therapist. The family moved to York County, Pennsylvania, when Cox was around 9. He attended Central York High School followed by Harrisburg Area Community College.
