Big Ang was an American actress and television personality. She was born Angela Raiola on June 30, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York. Her uncle ‘Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi’ was a member of the Genovese crime family. She was nicknamed “mob moll’, and was known for dating her share of bad boys. She was 5ft 10in tall and had a net worth of $15 million.
CAREER
Ang rose to prominence with her starring role on VH1’s reality series, Mob Wives. The show ran for six seasons from 2011-2016. She also starred on her own spin-off, Big Ang, which premiered in summer 2012. She appeared on seven episodes of the morning talk show, Big Morning Buzz Live with Nick Lachey. She was featured on the hit reality series, Celebrity Wife Swap, in 2015. Ang was co-owner of the popular Drunken Monkey bar in Staten Island, New York. Her book, Bigger Is Better: Real Life Wisdom from the No-Drama Mama, was released on September 11, 2012.
